Entrance of the Forbidden City.
kk. a little history lesson. in chinese, the Forbidden City is called Zi Jing Cheng (direct translation: purple forbidden city). why purple? well, according to the tour guide, he said there was a star in the middle of the sky that is called Zi (purple), and since the middle is like the most prestigious position, the palace is named after it. yuppo. (i hope i remember correctly. hehe)

COKE!!! AMERICANISATION!!!

A hibernation peach tree at summer palace...or is it winter palace? ah. confused.

A hibernating apple tree!

A hibernating pear tree!!
kk..i'm kidding. they're all hibernating peach trees. haha. xP

Cheng De. To those who watched Huan Zhu Ge Ge, this is where they shot the series. hehe.

Behold...the Great Wall of China. see the third pavillion? at the rightmost? yeap. i climbed up there. hah. and almost died. wonderful exercise. but horrendously tiring. the steps are super irregular and some are REALLY steep. overheard an ang mo who said "Man i thought i was in shape." haha. as for my brother...think he climbed to the 7th or 8th pavillion. mad.
