YES YESSS!!! new layout. waha. kk. my post is a little late, but i handed in my assignment (layout) before christmas!!! promise kept. yay. anyway, i shant claim all credit. I did the design (that bar at the bottom), with some rescuing from jiehui. waha. at one point i couldnt see my pictures then i realised (with some help) that my layers were screwed. haha. yup. And when it came to html, i was absolutely reluctant. and blogspot has WEIRD configurations that drove me mad. And once again, thanks to jiehui, who deleted everything, and started from scratch. and hoorayyyy~! it's done. though it's a bit screwed, at least you can see the main stuff la (except the sidebar which i decided that i dont have any space for it. heh)
Enough about my preeeetttyyyy blog. :D that featured me me and ME from young. (yes i'm narcissistic. and yes i believe that Man is a lone island to a big extent) interesting growth huh. now..about christmas.....
I spent my very first hour of christmas crying buckets. Like really CRYING. Not sobbing, not weeping. CRYING. Had to use tissue like mad. I cried till i had sore eyes, blocked nose with mucus flowing everywhere, and aching muscles. Am not exaggerating. Why? Cos i finally reached the end of Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. (I hope that's how you spell her name) Yup. I was crying cos I finished reading the 518 page book, but i was crying cos of the ending. For the last 40pages (i think), i was like crying at every single word that came across. Am not going to reveal any part of the plot. You gotta read it yourself. All i can say is that it is an absolutely beautiful book, (not physically) and you really gotta read it. I'll gladly lend it to you provided you promise to take good care of it (it's only a book). Later on on that day, I spent my whole day with MintKellieJiehuiNoi. Was supposed to go pooling/bowling/k-boxing BUT we ended up shopping. And me, who didnt plan to shop, bought 3 pieces of clothing. and the rest-- nothing. haha. oopS =X. anw, i got my tube top oreadi!! can flash flash flash my navel. but i think i've grown incredibly fat. tummy bulging everywhere. shall promise myself to run twice a week and swim once a week and do tummy exercise everyday from next year onwards! haha. shall aim for britney's beeeauuuutiful abs. *dreaming*.
On christmas, i didnt plan at all to get anybody any presents actually. i felt that it wasnt really necessary. haha. but upon reminder (REQUEST actually) from noi, i decided..k fine, i shall go get something. so on christmas morning itself, i ran to j8 and did my last second shopping. haha. sheesh. but i think the presents turned out quite nice and personalised and original. yes. i have always known i have an artistic streak in me. waha
Boxing day was spent swimming at jiehui's house (of which jiehui didnt swim. she sat on the beach chair and READ agatha christie in her swimsuit. ah well, she has the body so she can afford to sit there and FLASH. whaha). After jiehui's house was singyin darling's house. went there to eat eat eat and watch tv tv tv and play cards cards cards. haha. though was quite disappointed cos NoiKellieRachel disappeared. but was glad cos i saw SINGYIN!!!!!!(after like half a year?) and mingyue (crappy girl) and HUIMIN!!!!!! (long lost man). haha. wasnt exactly a FABULOUS time, but it is those times of which you will cherish forever. It's the type of moment when you feel so comfortable. So accepted. So loved for who you are. Simplicity. *quotes nanyang's moto*
oh and we watched the funny charity show on channel 8. TAUFIK!!!!!!!! ohmygod. when he winked i just melt. when he sings i just drool. when he appears i get stuck onto the tv. yes. and i realised the charm of tay ping hui. lol. xP oops. revealing too much. wahaha..
blah blah. too tired to think of anything else to type. nothing insightful either. just hoping for more time for myself. and others. hoping holidays will not end though i'm excited about the new year.
